MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Check with your instructor for your clubs closing and re-opening dates. Make sure you train hard over summer so you are ready to get straight back into it!
In March there will be a National Camp for ANYONE registered in ITKD to attend. This will be an amazing experience for anyone that attends, you will learn a lot and have a LOT of fun!!
The first grading is typically around April so make sure you keep training and studying over the break!
Be safe and we look forward to seeing you all next year!

This is a note from Mr Matthew Davey, Instructor of Jungshin Glenfield
This is open to all members of Jungshin, the more the merrier!
Hello,
Our club is going to be taking part in the Glenfield Christmas parade on Nov 20. We took part in this event last year and received a lot of interest from it. It takes about an hour to wander along the parade route. We will be handing out flyers and performing items along the way, such as kicking a pad, step sparring, patterns, sparring, breaking a few boards, etc. Or if you don’t feel like doing any techniques you can just walk along as part of the group. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to promote our club to prospective members. If any of your friends or family want to join in and walk with us, hand out flyer’s etc, it would be greatly appreciated (they could borrow a club hoodie). Please note you will need to be in Dobok, but as it is likely to be a sunny day you are able to wear shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunblock etc. We might also be doing a demonstration at the park were the parade finishes, I’m just waiting for confirmation. Remember that you also get a point towards your black belt grading by participating in events like this. Closer to the time I’ll let you know where and when we will meet. Thanks, Mr Davey |

Hey everyone! the Nationals are being held in our very own Auckland North region this year! They will be held over the 12th, 13th and 14th of August at the North Shore Events Centre in Glenfield.
Trainings have already begun and are held at Auckland Grammer School in Newmarket/ Mt Eden on a Sunday from 9am - 11am. Mr Chris Broughton is head coach again this year with Miss Alexandra Couling as manager.
There is no limits on entries this year for the first time! This means potentially massive divisons! This is a great chance to test yourself against others from around the country!
Entries are open to everyone Yellow Belt and above (i am unsure about Yellow stripes at this stage)
To goto Nationals you MUST attend every training that is left on Sunday unless you have a very valid reason, IE out of the country.
Training fees are $35 to cover every session thats left and $60 to enter nationals. Tracksuits are also available but must be ordered ASAP!
So come along and lets work on Auckland North getting back the best overall region trophy!!!

This is the first time they have been held in New Zealand which is very exciting! We have sent our largest team ever with the aim to be the number one country at the end of it! We were second behind Hosts Argentina in the 2009 World Champs.
On Thursday, February the 3rd, Jungshin Glenfield put on an open night with some light training and a great demonstration for our guests.
We had only had time for one practise session before this so considering this i think the demonstration went very well! With most guests very keen to come back and give it a try!
